Have Fun Playing Casino Games
If you have the urge to get involved in the world of casino gambling, you will need to know how casino games are played. With a little background, you can get started gambling right away, take your chances and have a wonderful time at any casino. Here are three games that anyone without experience can play and still come home a winner.
Slot machines
Some games are more complicated than others, but anyone can start gambling with slot machines because they are easy to play. In fact, slots are the game of choice for most casino visitors. Penny and nickel video type slot machines get the most players, so a very small bet can get results. Almost all of the machines will accept paper currency, so you needn’t worry about getting change. There are many myths about “hot” slot machines, when slots will pay off and so on, but payouts are random, so it is actually impossible to tell when you might be the next winner. On average, slot machines in Las Vegas will pay out about 95% of what they take in, which provides a great chance to getting lucky gambling on this type of game.
Backgammon
Most gambling games are played against a casino and are based mostly on luck. Backgammon online is exceptional for its unique combination of skill and luck, and for being played against live opponents, in both matches and tournaments. Backgammon online is social, innovative and with greatest odds of winning real money.
Blackjack
Blackjack tables are often crowded, because this card game is so popular. Also known as “21″, it’s easy to understand the concept, so you can get started relatively quickly. The blackjack dealer distributes two cards to each player at the table, including himself. One of the dealer’s two cards is face up, and each player in turn decides if their hand is close enough to 21 that it can beat the dealer’s hand. If that player feels confident, he will “stand” and the game continues to the next player. If the player feels that he wants to try to get closer to 21 with his cards, he can request a “hit”, and receives an additional card from the dealer.
Each player may continue to request hits until they total or go over 21. Going over a total of 21 with their cards will “bust” the player, and they lose their bet. Each player in turn either busts or stands on their cards before play moves to the next player.
After all players at the table have taken their turn, the dealer turns over his second card. If the dealer’s cards total 17 or higher, he has to stay. On the other hand, if he has 16 or less, he has to hit. These are hard and fast house rules, and not up to the dealer. If the dealer hits and the total is over 21 (a bust), everyone at the table who didn’t bust wins.
If the dealer doesn’t bust, each player’s hand is compared to his. Players with higher totals get a 1-to-1 payoff, while players who tie the dealer get their bet back, but earn nothing. “Blackjack” happens when a player is dealt an Ace and a card worth 10 points. This creates an instant win, and pays off at one and half times the original bet.
Roulette
Roulette is a very old gambling game, dating back to 18th century France. It involves a spinning wheel, with numbers red and black alternating colors, and a ball which is set in motion and comes to rest in a pocket when the wheel slows. Bets can be placed on a single number, on a range of numbers, on whether the number is odd or even, or on whether the winning pocket will be red or black. Bets are placed with colored chips on the roulette table, in the space indicating a color or number chosen. The dealer clears losing chips and pays off the winners.
